Get in the Holiday Spirit with Minted!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! Seriously. I’ve seen Christmas decorations in four stores already. My mailbox is flooded with toy magazines, and I saw on TV that the infamous tree in New York Times has already been chosen and on its way to light up NYC. So…it’s basically Christmas people! Surprisingly enough I’ve started shopping lists for my daughter and some family members and have even purchased a few items.

But, what must be planned first is our family holiday card. Once my daughter was born I’ve loved designing her birthday invitations and our holiday cards. My design process is kind of never ending, it takes me forever to find the right font and design, so over the past couple of years I’ve turned to online companies to fulfill my design needs. A site that I’ve fallen head over heels for is Minted.com. Their purpose is to uncover exceptional design from all over the world and bring this to savvy customers who won’t accept anything else. And they sure do deliver.

I like our holiday cards to be unique and the array of designs on Minted always gets me excited around holiday time. Below are a few of my current designs:

Whether you’re looking for a holiday card, corporate card, or new years card Minted has it all. In addition they also have the cutest baby announcements, invitations, and much much more!

Of course indecisive me hasn’t figured out which design will showcase our holiday cards…but I love the process of going through the designs and seeing which design looks best. Minted makes the process super easy and the quality of their products will make you want to use them for all of your design and card needs. The customization of all their products is what really sets Minted above other companies. You can really make whatever you are designing special and customized to fit your needs, whether it’s adding a special back to a holiday card or making a mini book. Minted.com works for YOU and your needs. This Mom likes that…alot!

When you head over to Minted be sure you set aside at least 30 minutes to explore their site – you’re going to fall in love too!! Happy Shopping!

{Season of Giving} $50 Pear Tree Greetings Giveaway!

CONGRATULATIONS to

Eileen Carter-Campos!!!

There is something so special about the holidays. Doesn’t matter if you celebrate Kwanza, Hanukkah, or Christmas there is no denying people tend to have pep in their step around this time of year. It doesn’t look like we’ll get a white Christmas here in MA but we don’t need that to know that the holidays are in full swing. Storefronts are decked out with special decorations. Lights adorn trees and bushes. Christmas trees hold tightly to the top of cars. Ooohh the holidays!

Since my daughter was one we’ve created holiday cards for our friends and family. It’s always been such a fun process, getting photos done, choosing the photos, and designing the card. I have been so busy at work securing my promotion (which happened Friday!) that I have been slacking heavy on our holiday cards this year!! I usually have pictures taken in November and I always like to aim to have the design done by December 1st. Well not this year!! Time has slipped out of my hands and I’m scrambling to get everything together!

This year we’ve decided to send New Years cards (which gives us more time) and I think it’s a great alternative! I’ve gone through our address book and we’ll be sending a little over 60 cards this year – ahhhh. So I’ve got my work cut out for me, and will be designing our cards this week!

I am so happy to be partnering with Pear Tree this year! Not only do they have fresh designs but I stand 100% behind their story:

There is a moment, it happens every day, that makes us feel like kids on Christmas morning. The anticipation of something unexpected, something special. This moment happens just before opening the mailbox, hoping for the envelope that’s a little thicker, feels a little softer, and isn’t branded with bulk mail bar codes. Wishing for a card, just for you.

We at Pear Tree believe in this moment. We believe that lives should be shared, with style, at prices you can afford. We believe in the power of connection. We believe in that magic moment, the pause, that makes us all just a little giddy.

The story is in all of us. The story that bonds us. The story of You, Shared.

These are a few of my favorite designs from their site:
