Cute Beltz Holiday Giveaway

CuteBeltz For Kids: Keeping one “bum” covered at a time! Our promise from us to you!

Brace yourselves…Christmas is just 13 days away! Even though I tried to be proactive this year with buying gifts, there are still a few kids I need to go shopping for. If you’ve got a little one of two you’re still looking for a gift for, or have a stocking you need to plump up, you’ll want to check out CuteBeltz – super cute kids belts!

We’re talking fashionable girls and boys belts with personality that are sure to make a splash this holiday season! They are the perfect accessory to spruce up a holiday outfit, and they make the perfect gift! A few years ago I had the opportunity to review one of their kid’s belts and I was so impressed with the quality of their belts and the bright fun designs. So many belts I’ve purchased for my daughter have frayed and been uncomfortable for her active lifestyle. What’s great about Cute Beltz is that you can buy D-ring belts for your older kids or their easy to use Velcro toddler and infant belts for your little boy or girl – and with so many different options to choose from you’ll have the perfect one for every season! Head over to see what belts are in stock this season!

Here are a few of my favorite girls and boys belts:

Love & Peace Girls Belt

Candy Stripe Girls Belt

Nautical Boys Belt

Roaring Dinosaur Boys Belt

Their Velcro belts are offered for children 6 months to 10 years of age. They are great when potty training because you can get them on and off quickly. Their D-ring belts are offered for children 12 months to 10 years of age and are easy for kids to loosen and fasten. Most importantly these belts are helping keep children’s pants at their waist – where they should be!

What I love is that CuteBeltz is a woman owned business! Kristen is a momprenuer of two beautiful girls who created CuteBeltz back in 2008 because the belts she was buying just didn’t work for her kids and she couldn’t find any belts to fit her daughter. Because she couldn’t find any she made one! Now five years later her business has blossomed and her belts have been featured on NBC’s hit show Parenthood!!

Because it’s the season of giving I’ve teamed up with CuteBeltz and some other great bloggers to offer one of you the opportunity to win any CuteBeltz of your choice!! Enter today – and be sure to enter the other #CuteBeltzHolidayGiveaway from the other bloggers to increase your chances of winning!

Giveaway: Win Tickets to A Christmas Story, The Musical in Boston!

image003

****Congratulations to Robert Loranger!!!****

With Halloween now over, it’s only a matter of time before Christmas will be knocking on the door. I’m not quite ready to accept this truth, even though I’ve already begun Christmas shopping! Along with the hustle and bustle of Christmas comes an important tradition in our house – watching A Christmas Story. The day long marathon still excites me and the jokes never get stale – it’s a classic movie that will never go out of style. We are a musical family and are delighted that A Christmas Story, The Musical is coming to the Citi Wang Theatre this holiday season! What a special opportunity to see all your favorite movie characters come to life on stage!

About A Christmas Story, The Musical:

Celebrate the holidays with this cherished story that will entertain the whole family with this heart-warming classic tale! The story from a cherished movie classic that has enchanted millions is now a musical spectacular. The story takes place in 1940’s Indiana, where a bespectacled boy named Ralphie has a big imagination and one wish for Christmas—a Red Ryder BB Gun. A kooky leg lamp, outrageous pink bunny pajamas, a cranky department store Santa, and a triple dog-dare to lick a freezing flagpole are just a few of the obstacles that stand between Ralphie and his Christmas dream. Co-produced by the film’s original Ralphie, Peter Billingsley, A Christmas Story, The Musical is musical comedy entertainment that captures a simpler time in America with delicious with and a heart of gold.

Giveaway: Boloco Gift Card & Nasoya Tofu

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post with Boloco. I received a Boloco gift card and Nasoya coupons. All opinions, as always, are my own.

I’m not afraid to admit that I don’t like cooking everyday. I’m not the Mom who meal plans and preps on Sundays for the week. I’m sure it would help to be better organized, but that’s just not where I am in my life! One of the worst things to do is decide to eat out and your meal is…bland. Not good!!

I’m a sucker for Mexican food and am spoiled to be surrounded by such yummy Mexican restaurants serving up warm nachos, and burriots that are sure to satisfy. I tend to stick with what I know, and when the folks over at Boloco reached out and asked if I has tried their food before, I was shocked to realize I hadn’t, considering there is one down the street from me in Harvard Square.

About Boloco

Boloco is a burrito company serving globally-inspired burritos, bowls, smoothies and shakes. With 21 restaurants throughout New England and the Washington DC metro area, Boloco believes that even a burrito aspires.

When it comes to food and ingredient transparency, some restaurants shy away from the conversation, but Boloco is giving consumers a firsthand look at the ingredients that make up its menu with its Culinary Investigation Assignment, a video series exploring the origins of Boloco’s ingredients.

For its most recent video, Boloco partnered with Nasoya, to explore how its tofu is made. A versatile addition to any meal, Nasoya tofu is used in a variety of Boloco’s burritos and bowls, including Buffalo, Teriyaki, and Tikka Masala.  Nasoya, the leading brand of tofu in the US, gave the Boloco crew a behind-the-scenes look at how it produces its organic, non-GMO tofu in Ayer, Massachusetts. You can check out the CIA video featuring Nasoya here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3YEzcDZ3js.

I’ve long been a fan of Mary Kay for its vast product line and affordability. I even considered becoming a consultant…but chose the nonprofit route instead! I’m thrilled to share some great news with you! Mary Kat is the official sponsor of the latest Univision.com webnovela, Arranque de Pasión! This partnership means that Mary Kay products will be highlighted when characters are wearing their products! In honor of the sponsorship Mary Kay decided to create some unique “looks” of the novella and created a series of vignette’s featuring celebrity makeup artists Luis Casco and Mariela Bagnato share tips on how to replicate the featured looks at home! This is always a struggle for  me – I see an amazing makeup look, I try to replicate it at home and I end up looking like a clown! Not good!!

One of the looks Mary Kay created was the “Ela” Ready to Win look. Everyone wants a winning look, and for Ela, she believes that you should always look good and be ready to win in life and love. This character look developed by Luis Casco is a “winner.”

I was chosen as one of many bloggers to recreate one of the signature looks using Mary Kay products! In the mail I received the products to help recreate the “Ela” Ready to Win look!

Albion Fit: Review & Giveaway!

CONGRATULATIONS MARY RAY!!!!

It’s about three weeks since I’ve begun my health and wellness journey. I’m running, squatting, sweating, and starting to feel good! I was going to get a membership to a super fancy all women’s gym, until I was told the membership prices – $99/month…for one month!! With my upcoming Disney trip and summer camp expenses I knew it wasn’t something I could afford, so I’ve been getting outdoors and working out at home. My body is not yet at the point where I want it to be, and I’m a bit self-conscious, but I don’t want that insecurity to play a role in getting a good workout.

I want to be comfortable and looks good while I’m working out, and am so happy to be partnering with my social media BFF, Albion Fit. I first heard about Albion through a blog last year, and instantly became a fan. Albion Fit makes luscious clothing that woman want to wear! Their garments are fashionable and unique, but more importantly practical and technical. Designed by women, their apparel is crafted for women wherever they may be in their fitness goals. Our clothes easily transition from work out gear to lounging gear: whether she’s running an errand or 26.2 miles across a finish line.

It’s like we’re a match made in heaven! They speak my language :-)

Wondering what their name means? Albion, hails from the Albion Basin at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon in beautiful Utah. They draw upon nature and its energy for their inspiration, always remembering that their ultimate goal is to reflect the power of natural femininity in their designs, as well as their lifestyle.

They really stood out to me because obviously their amazing clothes, but their engagement with people (like me) via social media. Sometimes you reach out to a company, retweet something they’ve tweeted and get no response. Kinda sucks! Whether it’s on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram Albion appreciates it’s fans, customers, and potential customers – and that’s how you build an audience!

They offer a variety of women’s fitness and swimwear and workout clothing. Below are a FEW of my favorites:

women's fitness and swimwear

I recently received their Gown Suit in Navy (left) for my June Disney trip. And once I lose a few more lbs I’m going all out and purchasing my *favorite* swimsuit they carry – the Midnight Dip Swimsuit (right)!! I’m in loooove with it!!

Oh and another thing? They are forever having specials on their merchandise! So always checkout their Instagram or Facebook page to learn about their newest deals!

Go off and explore their site, and be sure to use this exclusive promo code alexandra15 up until May 12 to save $15 on any purchase of $50+! And I’m super excited to offer a GIVEAWAY to one lucky reader for the same swimsuit I have the Gown Suit in Navy (above on left), entering is easy – good luck & happy shopping!!
